The Biodegradable Products Institute1 has granted the BPI license to AMS Compostable2, after our manufacturer of compostable bags company, managed to satisfactorily pass the five phases of this global certification. This is the main organization that certifies compostable products and packaging in North America. Having the BPI certification logo means that our products, have been tested and verified with scientific standards in specialized laboratories.
In order to obtain this valuable recognition, AMS Compostable bags were thoroughly evaluated, going through five levels of valuation that include procedures performed in specialized laboratories. These are in charge of identifying if the products are truly compostable, and therefore worthy of receiving this certification. With this, AMS Compostable adds six granted world standard biodegradable and compostable approvals.
Receiving this certificate guarantees the quality of our bags and scientifically demonstrates that AMS Compostable products disintegrate and biodegrade without leaving visible or toxic waste, becoming organic fertilizer.
